John Foster Charity Golf Day 2025

Recently, we took part in the John Foster Cup Charity Golf Day, hosted by Time to Talk at Donnington Grove Golf Club.

The event, held in memory of John Foster, a long-time patron of Time to Talk, brought together businesses and individuals dedicated to supporting young people’s mental health.

John’s commitment to the charity left a lasting impact, and his legacy continues through events like this one. We were honoured to be part of the day, which raised essential funds for the charity's ongoing work.

The day itself was filled with great competition and a shared sense of purpose. We were pleased to finish in second place and are already setting our sights on first for next year.

Thanks to the generosity of all involved, more than £12,000 was raised. This will directly support Time to Talk’s counselling and mental health services for young people aged 11 to 25 across West Berkshire.

A huge thank you to the organisers for another fantastic event and to all the Platform Smart Associates who took part.
