HSBC Framework Update
Platform Smart is delighted to continue its relationship with HSBC, strengthening a trusted partnership that has grown since 2015.
As many of you know, our current HSBC framework runs until June 2026. This is the second direct framework we’ve secured with the bank, building on a relationship that began in 2015.
We’ve been aware for some time that HSBC has been carrying out a supplier consolidation exercise. Once this concluded, we anticipated that in early 2026 we would be invited to take part in a formal procurement process to hopefully secure our next framework with them.
Recently, I had a call with procurement who confirmed that, following their review and extensive discussions with the business, HSBC wish to retain Platform Smart as a supplier. The formalities of putting our new framework in place will now begin.
This is fantastic news and provides us with the opportunity to continue to support the bank over the years ahead. While we were confident that our track record and reputation put us in a strong position, we were never complacent that this would be a formality and receiving this news brings an end to any uncertainty that would have undoubtedly increased as we progressed towards the end of our existing framework.
As per our existing and previous HSBC frameworks, a framework does not guarantee revenue, but it does provide the all-important passport to work with HSBC and if we continue to serve them in the manner we have over the past decade then our new framework will open the door to ongoing opportunities.
A huge thank you to everyone who supports the HSBC account and has played a role in it over the past 10 years. Although it is often challenging, this renewal is a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our Associates and back-office team every single day and securing our 3rd direct framework with such a prestigious brand is a fantastic achievement and one we are very proud of.
