easyJet Update - August 2023
Having recently signed an extension of our multi-year easyJet consultancy framework, I wanted to provide a bit more insight into some of the exciting initiatives we’re supporting beyond the Cyber Transformation Programme – the Cloud Migration Programme is a perfect example of this.
When I picked up the reigns for the easyJet account back in April-22, we had just mobilised our Cloud Programme Lead so it was great to be involved in the programme from inception. We initially developed the detailed business case, established the required programme structure, and supported the client with selecting their chosen cloud partner, AWS.
Since then, the cloud landing zone has been a key focus for the last 6 months. We’ve helped ensure it improves the client’s security posture and can meet the existing and future applications and service needs, as well as working with the application teams and owners to prepare them for migration with a small set of application migrations already completed.
Our delivery team is now refining the approach to incorporate lessons learnt, and we’re looking to engage with associates who have prior cloud experience or the required transferable skills to support the migration of over 150 applications in the next year.
