At Platform Smart, our reputation is shaped by every interaction we have with clients, partners and suppliers. As an Associate, how you behave and interact with people reflects directly on our brand, as well as your own personal brand and that of your Ltd company.
Our Code of Conduct exists to ensure your actions and decisions align with our values and standards. It supports a professional, inclusive and ethical working environment. This code applies to all employees, Associates, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and representatives working with or on behalf of Platform Smart.

Your responsibilities as an Associate
Platform Smart Associates are expected to act with honesty, transparency and professionalism at all times. This includes avoiding any conflicts of interest, complying with laws and regulations, and never engaging in bribery or unlawful conduct. You should represent Platform Smart accurately and only work where you have a legal right to do so.
Respect and Communication
Professionalism also means respecting everyone you work with – from clients to colleagues – and maintaining clear, constructive communication. All services should be delivered with care, competence and respect for the client’s best interests.
Confidentiality
You are trusted to handle sensitive information responsibly. Confidential data must be protected and must not be used for personal gain. All handling of data must comply with relevant legislation and internal policies.
Speaking Up
If you witness or experience behaviour that does not meet these standards, you are expected to report it to your Managing Consultant. All concerns will be taken seriously, and retaliation for raising a concern in good faith will not be tolerated.
Continuous Improvement
We encourage every Associate to seek opportunities to improve, embrace feedback, and contribute to our shared commitment to high standards and innovation. This Code is not just guidance – it reflects who we are and the values we uphold together.
Contract Awareness
Your engagement with Platform Smart is underpinned by your contract. The client you are delivering to and the nature of the engagement, will determine the level of detail included, such as deliverables, timescales, effort and commercials. Please ensure you remain familiar with the contents of your contract and contact Platform Smart if any changes arise that may affect these terms.
IR35 Compliance
All engagements are assessed for their IR35 status, and a Status Determination Statement will have been provided to you. It is important that your delivery aligns with the information provided during the determination process. If any aspect of the engagement changes in a way that could affect how it is being delivered, and potentially its IR35 status, please inform Platform Smart as soon as possible
