New Starters - Sam Wright & Holly Emmerson
We are pleased to welcome two new joiners to Platform Smart, Sam Wright and Holly Emmerson.
Sam and Holly have joined our Onboarding and Compliance team, working closely with Hannah Lawrence to strengthen the delivery of our Associate operations - we look forward to the positive impact and insight they will bring.

Can you give us one interesting fact about yourself that we may not already know.
Sam Wright: When I was travelling up the east coast in Australia, I decided to skydive from 15,000 ft in Mission Beach. It is the only place in the world where you get a guaranteed beach landing. It was one of the most terrifying yet amazing experiences I have ever had, and they even let me steer the parachute on the way down.
Holly Emmerson: I was lucky enough to visit Vietnam a few years ago, travelling north to south for six weeks. My fondest memories are a cruise around Halong Bay and exploring the beautiful city of Hoi An.
What does Platform Smart mean to you?
Sam Wright: This opportunity means a lot to me, especially because I already have a strong connection to the business and a solid understanding of what Platform Smart offers. Seeing how much the company has grown in just its first ten years is truly inspiring, and it is exactly the kind of environment where I know I can contribute, grow, and be part of something exciting.
Holly Emmerson: The passion for teamwork I have experienced so far truly reflects the outstanding quality of service we are committed to delivering for our clients. Equally, the Associate Programme sits at the heart of the business, serving as a trusted partner in achieving highly successful outcomes.
What impact are you hoping to make on Platform Smart?
Sam Wright: I am hoping to make an impact by being a reliable, proactive team member who supports colleagues across the business. I want to bring new perspectives, help streamline the way we work, and contribute to the continued success at Platform Smart.
Holly Emmerson: With a background in marketing and client development, my experience has multiple touchpoints across all business functions. I hope to bring this experience into Platform Smart, gaining a deeper understanding of how the organisation works and supporting stronger, mutually beneficial relationships with our Associates.
What is something that you are looking forward to now that you have joined the team?
Sam Wright: I am really looking forward to working alongside such a positive and talented team. I am excited to learn from everyone’s expertise and grow both personally and professionally within Platform Smart as we work toward our shared goals.
Holly Emmerson: Building strong relationships across the team is a high priority for me. Everyone here is incredibly experienced, and I am excited to learn from that expertise to set myself up for success at Platform Smart. I am also looking forward to the Christmas party.
What do you hope your contribution will bring to both our Associate community and our clients?
Sam Wright: I hope my contribution strengthens Platform Smart’s Associate community by ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and serving as a trusted point of contact that Associates can rely on. For our clients, I aim to deliver reliable, consistent, and efficient processes that reflect the company’s commitment to excellence.
Holly Emmerson: I hope my contribution creates an enthusiastic and reliable experience for our Associate community. It is such a unique and valued partnership, and I am genuinely excited to represent it.
For our clients, my aim is to approach every interaction with a collaborative mindset. I want our clients to feel that we are working alongside them and paying close attention to every requirement. It is important to me that they have confidence knowing they will receive the same level of commitment with every project.
